Overview:
The electromagnetic flowmeter operates based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. It measures the flow rate of conductive fluids by detecting the electromotive force generated when the fluid passes through an applied magnetic field. Widely used for measuring clean water, wastewater, corrosive fluids, toxic liquids, and liquid-solid two-phase media, it consists of a sensor and a converter. The sensor includes a measuring tube, electrodes, and excitation coils. The converter amplifies, processes, and calculates the flow signal to display instantaneous/cumulative flow rates and output pulse/analog current signals for flow measurement and control. It is extensively applied in water supply, chemical, environmental protection, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, drainage, and other industrial sectors.
